Boosters

Boosters temporarily multiply rewards earned while mining. Right-click a booster to activate it; one booster item is consumed. XP and Energy Boosters are personal, so they only affect the player who uses them.

A player may have one active XP Booster and one active Energy Booster at the same time. Using another booster of the same type replaces the current booster rather than stacking its duration or multiplier.

XP Boosters

XP Boosters multiply the Mining XP earned from mining blocks and meteorites.

A 3x XP Booster grants three times the normal Mining XP for its listed duration.
XP Boosters can be combined with an active global Mining XP Booster; their multipliers multiply together.
The remaining time and multiplier are shown while the booster is active.

Examples of XP Booster rewards include:

3x Mining XP for 3 hours
2.5x Mining XP for 2 hours
5x Mining XP for 30 minutes
3x Mining XP for 60 minutes
3.5x Mining XP for 2 hours

Energy Boosters

Energy Boosters, displayed in-game as Charge Boosters, multiply the charge gained by a pickaxe while mining blocks and meteorites.

A 3x Charge Booster grants three times the normal charge for its listed duration.
Charge Boosters can be combined with an active global Charge Booster; their multipliers multiply together.
Players at the current level cap receive an additional 25% multiplier to charge gain.
The remaining time and multiplier are shown while the booster is active.

Examples of Energy Booster rewards include:

3x Charge for 60 minutes
5x Charge for 3 hours

Booster Mastery

Players in a gang with the Booster Mastery upgrade receive extra duration when activating a personal XP or Energy Booster. The multiplier remains the same; only the active time is increased.

Global Boosters

Global Boosters affect every online player while active. A boss bar displays the booster type, multiplier, and remaining duration.

The available global booster types are:

Mining XP — multiplies Mining XP gained by all players.
Charge — multiplies pickaxe charge gained by all players.
Money Sell — multiplies money earned from selling.
Shards — multiplies shard drop chance.

Personal XP and Energy Boosters stack multiplicatively with their matching global booster. For example, a 3x personal XP Booster and a 2x global Mining XP Booster result in 6x Mining XP.
