Inventory Pets
Inventory Pets are reusable items with their own abilities, levels, experience, and cooldowns.
To use a pet, hold it in your main hand and right-click. If the pet is ready, it activates its ability and begins its cooldown. Each pet has a different ability, such as repairing an item, feeding you, summoning allies, or affecting nearby players.
Pets gain experience each time they are successfully used. When enough experience is earned, the pet levels up. Higher pet levels can reduce the pet’s cooldown, allowing it to be used more often. Each pet has its own maximum level.
A pet’s level, experience, and cooldown are stored on that individual pet item, so two copies of the same pet can progress separately. You can view a pet’s current level, progress, ability, and remaining cooldown in its lore.
Use /pets to view the available pets in game.
